Greenpeace\u2019s Textiles Procurement Standard<\/u><\/a> requires Greenpeace suppliers to disclose all supply chain steps and the original certifications and audits (supply chain transparency) and \u201cto provide details of all individual Wet Process supplier Facilities to the auditor OEKO-TEX\u00ae, or Equivalent, to facilitate verification\u201d.\u00a0 Wet processes describe the dyeing, washing and printing of textiles, where the most chemicals are used and discharged.<\/p>

OEKO-TEX\u00ae has checked all OEKO-TEX\u00ae audits and certifications down to Tier 2 (wet processing) of the supply chain and provides third-party verification for this in its Letter of Compliance to Teemill.<\/p>

Teemill has shared all other certifications and background audits for the whole of the supply chain with Greenpeace and all of the paperwork has been checked by us.<\/p>
